After Conchita Wurst was nominated as the Austrian participant at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, she went on a number of trips abroad to increase her own profile in other participating countries.
In November 2013, she travelled to Ireland for a few days, where she was a guest on Brendan O’Connor’s “The Saturday Night Show” and performed for the first time at the nightclub “The George“.
From the fans’ point of view, the interview with Garrett Mulhall from Eurovision Ireland is particularly memorable, with more than 2.5 million views on YouTube the most successful interview of the official Irish Eurovision Blog.
