FALLING | IN LOVE
The Friedrichstadt-Palast, also shortened to ‘Palast Berlin’, is a revue in Berlin. The term Friedrichstadt-Palast designates both the building itself, and the revue theater as a body with his ensemble.
The Friedrichstadt-Palast‘s large hall is regularly used as a performing space, and has a seating capacity 1,895. Its stage floor of 2,854 square meters is the largest in the world. The venue specializes in complex shows that use advanced lighting and stage technology, over a hundred performers, and stylized acrobatic numbers.
The new Grand Show "FALLING | IN LOVE" revolves around a young man who lives in a world of loneliness and searches for beauty and colours in the garden of love. The show itself is brimming with splendor, with around 100 million Swarovski crystals and over 650 kilograms of other crystals in the stage set. The actors' costumes are also decorated with sparkling stones and were again designed by fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier.
The show had its world premiere on 11 October 2023. Conchita Wurst was invited to the premiere and red carpet event.
