FameMaker
FameMaker is a music show on German television (ProSieben), produced by Stefan Raab and Brainpool in August 2020 and broadcast in autumn 2020. The show was hosted by Thomas Neuwirth.
The candidates perform under a soundproof glass dome, the jurors Carolin Kebekus, Luke Mockridge and Tedros Teclebrhan decide on the basis of the performance whether to operate a lever so that the voice can then be heard.
For the final, the jury has a song selected for the candidate produced and performed with it. Ultimately, the audience decides which of the candidates will be the winner.
The first four decision shows were pre-recorded in the studio in Cologne-Mülheim in August; the final show was broadcast live on German television (ProSieben) on 1 October 2020.
