Mariahilf 2012
“Andersrum ist nicht verkehrt” [Engl.: The other way around is not wrong] in Mariahilf, Vienna’s 7th district, is a gay and lesbian street festival for openness and tolerance and was celebrated in 2012 for the seventh time.
The event offers a colourful programme, but in addition to creating a party atmosphere, it also wants to help break down borders and prejudices and sends a strong signal against homophobia. Initiatives for lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders provide information and present their fields of activity.
