#YesWeCare – The Concert

Solidarity concerts for Ukraine are a sign of solidarity between the classical music industry as well as jazz, rock, pop and rap across Europe with Ukraine after the Russian attack from 24 February 2022.

On 27 March 2022, solidarity concerts took place in twenty European countries. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke to the participants. At Vienna's Heldenplatz, 18 music groups played in front of more than 100,000 spectators at #YesWeCare - The Concert to raise money for refugees from Ukraine.

An absolute highlight of the evening was the performance of Conchita Wurst, who spontaneously stepped in for Willi Resetarits, who unfortunately had to cancel due to a Covid infection.
