Conchita Wurst was granted an audience with the Emperor. She was also allowed to sing the hymn for him on New Year’s Eve.

In 2011, Conchita Wurst was invited as a special guest for the midnight interlude of the event by Aids Hilde Wien.

In the first few years Conchita Wurst had so-called home stories created for media in Austria – mostly together with her husband Jacques Patriaque.
